EMI SHIELDED DISPLAYS
Sensitive medical devices, safety engineering, and aerospace systems are governed by stringent regulations regarding electromagnetic interference (EMI). To ensure our TFT displays comply with these standards and shield against interference at the TFT cell level, we employ transparent EMI glass using advanced ITO technology or copper mesh with a minimum 95% transmission rate. The silver-coated frame surrounding the glass enables effective grounding via the TFT display bezel.Â
We also offer the option to assemble or optically bond an analogue resistive or glass/glass touchscreen to the EMI glass.Â
Our proprietary VacuBond optical bonding process reinforces the screen, enhancing durability against impact and simplifying cleaning by eliminating the gaps where dirt can accumulate.
In addition, we provide integration of NVIS (Night Vision Imaging System) compatible backlighting, along with specialised high brightness LED rails. A range of filter options are available, including anti-fingerprint and infrared filters.
Our SmartLED converter range includes LED converters with NVIS/Daylight control, available in various performance classes to meet specific requirements.
